Кристофер Генри Доусон (англ. Christopher Henry Dawson, 1889 – 1970) — английский учёный, историк, социолог, автор множества книг по культурологии и религиоведению.

Родился в 1889 году в англиканской семье. Вырос в Хартлингтон-Холле (Йоркшир). Учился в Winchester College и Тринити Колледж (Оксфорд). В 1914 году присоединился к Католической Церкви, в 1916 году женился на католичке Валери Миллс (англ. Valery Mills).

В 1920 году начал публиковаться в The Sociological Review. Пропагандировал тезис о том, что в Католическая церковь была основным фактором возвышения Европейской цивилизации.
